The Wrist and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

The wrist is a quite complicated area with significant range of motion and significant daily loads and stresses. It consists of two rows of small bones, which can all move against each other. Under adverse loads, these bones can lock against each other and begin to create various problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and pain and problems elsewhere in the arm. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an inflammation in the tunnel of the wrist in which the Median Nerve lies. There are various causes of this inflammation, some of which can be treated with specific chiropractic treatment methods.
